@SwipeWright After using the same falsifiability question in Braver Angels depolarization and deradicalization activities, I'm not sure it is the right path. People tend to list evidence they already know is in their favor.
Better might be, "What data would be a good test of the claim?"
@SteveStuWill I was once told that I only believed something because of my white privilege. I replied that the other person (also white) only believed the opposite due to white guilt, and then asked if we could dispense with the personal attacks and examine the claim itself.
@minordissent I say something similar when debating gender ideologues: show me evidence of transgenderism that is stronger than evidence for the existence of a soul.

My initial thought is the opposite: that a more conservative culture adopts smartphones more slowly and generally deviates from previous trends more slowly than a less conservative culture.

@boriquagato@erichhartmann And regarding prevention/treatment, it would have let us know that the virus evolved in a lab environment, suggesting that going outside was super safe and that indoor air was hazardous. But instead people stayed home and we closed parks and beaches...
@TheMuppetPastor The middle path is taking a photograph of yourself from behind while looking at the object. That way the viewer knows that you saw the object.
