Today, our team went on a medical outreach visit for a frail senior, isolated, due to the pandemic.
What did care consist of? Coffee, a warm meal & art supplies for his hobby.
He said "Doc, remember, 'care' is about more than prescribing pills."
So true. It's about compassion.
My grandfather grew up in a house made of mud. All he had was his farm land, passed down through generations. The yields from that land put my father through school and funded his journey to Canada. I had the freedom to pursue my dreams thanks to that land. #IStandWithFarmers
