New species of the Macropoma genus (M. gombessae) is named from Lower Cretaceous Albian Gault Formation of southern England. These are related to the still living Coelacanth! Look how similar they look!
A new collaboration with British colleagues just published yesterday. This time a thorough review about the record of #coelacanth fishes from the British Rhaetian, led by Jacob Quinn.
