@MudderFudder77@carebearkieran When it comes to getting great coaching and player development in the US itโs pay-to-play. Itโs accessible to play but not necessarily to develop.
@BoschDali@BranPuffin@rushicrypto The issue is that we have an aging population and longer life expectations. In the 1960s there were 5.1 workers paying in to every 1 person receiving SS benefits. That number is now estimated at 2.7 to 2.8. You canโt fund a changing system the same way forever.
@notbobkoz@Schoop_11 It probably also depends on how the landscape changes with the new CBA. That has seemingly been baked into a lot of these deals. Because pre-free agent players are almost exclusively performing above fmv the equation is very different.
@JK4D7@Kinger112611@BrewerSooner Rookie ball can be very deceptive. Jose Anderson tore up Arizona last year in 45 PA (1.217 OPS) and has struggled making contact in A-ball (mammoth power though). Frias profile is much better, but weโll have to see how it carries over against better competition.
@DirtCobain28@MatthewMKE98 Love more than anybody. Last year his QBR was 77.7 with Watson on the field 69.5 without him. TD/Int ratio nearly double with vs without.
Jacobs went from 3.7 YPC in games without Watson to 4.2 YPC in games with him.
@RevivedThoughts No, I wouldnโt count driving either. If I had visit Spain on my bucket list and flew in as a layover to Italy I wouldnโt mark visit Spain off.
