🏴 Good luck to Ryan Christie and the whole @ScotlandNT from everyone at Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC as they begin their FIFA World Cup campaign!
Watching Holyrood debate on an inquiry. When my name was mentioned as a whistleblower on SNP finances & governance culture who was bullied for her trouble some MSPs jeered. That’s no surprise to me as some of the bullies and those who enabled them are now SNP MSPs. Charlatans.
Well said Joanna 💪 I and hundreds of thousands support you in your current endeavours and I hope in the future you come back to front line politics to take the cause further 🏴
I disagree with that Sara. Yes, securing international support and recognition are important, not the be all and end all, but we the people need to assert our independence and not have it "granted".
I think the conventional, "professional" party political route has run its course.
I firmly believe we need to organise, coordinate and act, with mass protest and disrupt, distract and dismantle every element of British rule in Scotland.
I am not suggesting we do that violently but in a peaceful, but very determined way.
International laws and recognition are one, important, aspect but as you will know this will ultimately boil down to political will and international political pragmatism.
@PeteWishart Facts are best established & exposed in court under oath. You stick to your cosy wee committees - leave the grown up stuff to me and my formidable legal team. Watch from the public gallery whilst I haul your ex and current colleagues in front of a judge. Actions have consequences
@IssyMil@gracebrod1e@Holdfast214 I don't think we were any of the two. The SNP had nearly 95% of Scottish MPs. People expected something big to happen. That it turned into a damp squib was not the people's fault.
2/10
The SNP didn't just hide this. They developed a remarkably specific grammar of evasion.
Funds that were "frozen" became "woven through" the accounts. A First Minister who said finances were managed "on a cash flow basis" — when the party used accrual accounting. An auditor fraud flag that was never made public.
Technically defensible in isolation. Collectively incoherent side by side.
