The 2026 U.S. Open Youth Club Championships, the ultimate youth national championship, is finishing up today in the girls' U20 division.

Both teams in the "girls'" final, Seven Hills and Minnesota Superior, have boys on their rosters.

Seven Hills boasts male player Leo "Nora" Luloff, recently coming back from playing in the world tournament with team USA, also described as the best "girls'" player in the country.

On Minnesota Superior, we have Matteo "Clover" Dosh Galdames, who helped the U17 Minnesota Superior team to the national championship title last year.

This final between two mixed teams is meaningless and there will be no "girls'" team champion this year.

Social media users are calling on a WNBA team to sign transgender French basketball player Julie Tétart, who averages 21 points per game.

Tétart, who came out as trans in 2021, is a 6'3'' machine, averaging 20 rebounds per game.
