Paddy Nomad

An Irish time traveler just passing through. I'll be gone soon, but in the meantime, I'm telling it like it is.

@TrainingMindful Buddha never said this. Please stop attributing quotes to Buddha that others made. In this case, it was the Stoic Seneca.

@Lost___London Could you share some info with photos, including the street and year? Otherwise, your work is appreciated.

@0x_Squirrel I'm almost 70, and although I had seen and heard of Shirley Temple, I didn't realize how badly she was treated during her Hollywood career until recently. Anyway, many thanks for sharing this.

@IrishUnity People power and common sense have prevailed.

@QuotesforGoal Casi tengo 70 años y todavía estoy aprendiendo a callarme.

@AnimeTylenol @MannyMarotta Thanks for sharing that. I find it truly fascinating that the house has remained standing all these years.

@100YearsAgoLive Ah, I get it. Finally. For this account, everything stops at 1926. Right?

[Paddy Nomad @PaddyNomad]

@AnimeTylenol @MannyMarotta Nice one. I've been looking at this for years and never really imagined what it might actually look like, so hopefully you're right.

@EpictetusSays While not exclusive to Stoicism, this provides a strong foundation for any meaningful philosophy.

@mikegalsworthy @DailyMailUK @MailSport @PeterStefanovi2 @Femi_sorry @Lord_Sugar @campbellclaret @CarolineLucas At the very least, it reflects the overall sentiment on the issue. Any positive update regarding a return is always appreciated.

@acdmma_ It's official now. AJ is one of my favorite people, not just as a boxer but as a person.

@IrelandFootball The parrot is flying!

[Paddy Nomad @PaddyNomad]

@IrelandFootball Wow! That was something so very special.

@Wonderl40119974 @padraig_reilly Generally speaking, they do everything they can to help people from all backgrounds. That's their job, and it is what they signed up for. Don't judge them all by the actions of a few bad ones. I personally know Gardai who are 100% committed to doing what's right and just.

@BoxingNewsED AJ always comes across as a decent sort.

@johnkellyjkcs @REBELC0RK The falling leaves aren't the real issue as everyone expects heavy rains at some point. It's a common trait here, yet the council, in its wisdom, did nothing to prepare.
