Shravan Purnima marks the appearance of Swami Hayagriva 🌺

Hayagriva is a avatar of Sri Vishnu with a horse head. He is the embodiment of knowledge and wisdom.

He is not part of the Dashavatars of Sri Vishnu but is the protector of the Vedas. He is an important God in Vaishnavism and Shaktism.

Swami Hayagriva is an important deity and Guru in Sri Vidya Tantra.

The pauranic text of Devi Bhagwat Purana mentions the appearance of Lord Hayagriva. Lakshmi Mata is the consort of Swami Hayagriva. She is also considered as Vidya Lakshmi.

Valmiki Ramayana has some exquisite adjectives that describe Sīta.

She carries the quiet glow of a full moon (पूर्णचन्द्रनिभानना) and her skin glows golden like the warmth of molten gold (तप्तकाञ्चनवर्णाभाम्).

Her lotus-petal eyes (पद्मपलाश��क्षी), soft and tender as a doe's gaze (मृगशावाक्षी), hold both innocence and unshakable resolve.

Her dark, lustrous hair (नीलकेशी) falls like a river around a face made luminous not by perfection, but by presence.

The delicate curve of her lips and teeth (शुभदन्तोष्ठम्), the grace of her finely shaped nose (सुनासा), and the quiet shimmer of her earrings (शुभकुण्डला) seem almost incidental beside the light of her character.

Valmiki does not simply describe Sīta’s ethereally divine presence - he reveals her beauty as grace to be revered rather than just admired as the living embodiment of Devi Lakshmi herself (लक्ष्मीमिव) in human form.

This is exactly why humanity today feels so strange. Almost no one is pure inside out anymore. Everyone carries a dual, separable nature. A light face and a dark face, running side by side in the same person. You meet someone kind in the morning and cruel in the evening. Sincere in one moment, calculating in the next. Devoted at the temple, ruthless at the office.
The most evil people walking around us today were not always here. They have entered through this open door.
