@Miguel_Casso It was humbling for Einstein to admit that his notion of a static universe was wrong, & that Lemaître’s vision of a dynamic, expanding universe was correct. Yet in acknowledging his mistake, Einstein became more influential in the world of cosmology. God doesn’t make mistakes.
The citizens of #Sparta don’t deserve to be bullied and bulldozed by a company that’s never put the public need first. I hope these residents are successful in their legal challenge.
A GA railroad company’s use of eminent domain to seize land in one of the state’s poorest areas is facing legal challenges. Sparta residents argue that Sandersville Railroad Co. is driven by profit, not public need. https://t.co/2krJRj4wZJ
@NewYorker@MassimoFaggioli@vcunningham Snoop was certainly making his presence felt in Paris as much as the array of amazing athletes who were supposed to make their presence felt.
@MichaelMcKeon12 Yes … Bro Guy gave a presentation at the parish (pre-Covid) here in Atlanta that’s staffed by the Jesuits. And I do “belong” to the Vatican Observatory Foundation - made a trip out to their Tucson location to visit their VAT telescopes.
@TheAtlantic@Peter_Wehner As the scriptures tell us, a tree is known by its fruit. I don’t expect to get the fruit of goodness from Trump since throughout his life he’s always given bad fruit.
@BrianFragaNCR@NCRonline Thank you for your piece on this issue. Though I’m not supportive of funding private or parochial schools with public money, I’m looking forward to see how this ultimately plays out in the courts.
@Genius69322095@BreeSolstad Ah … this Archdiocesan celebration of the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (picture featured @PadreInAtlanta) was an enormously joyful and beautiful occasion. God is always loving and good.
Safety is a priority, especially for pedestrians. 🚶
As you continue your #PedestrianSafety studies here at Georgia DOT University, our hierarchy of pedestrian safety chart shows you the necessary elements to keep everyone safe within our communities.
@carolmaczim@BrianFragaNCR@NCRonline@TonySpence I’m not a journalist, but I had the honor of getting to know @TonySpence through many visits to Nashville while he was editor of the diocesan newspaper. My admiration of his gifts and friendship continued to grow as the years went by. He was a treasure. RIP Tony ❤️🙏🏾
Strange is our situation here upon earth. Each of us comes for a short visit, not knowing why, yet sometimes seeming to divine a purpose.. There is one thing we do know: that man is here for the sake of other men.. upon whose well-being our own happiness depends

Just a few more day before #ElonMusk moves all of his operations, including #Twitter (X) to Texas. That will be my official day to formally leave this now extremely toxic platform, and enjoy the friendly interactions on #Threads, #Spoutible, and #Tribel exclusively.
@kreme_puff @JUSTinPUSHPLAY@jawashandler I agree he’s a strange person, and his ex wives have illuminated behaviors and concerns that would make me avoid a personal friendship with him. But he’s good at his craft of acting - that can’t be denied.
The Olympic flag handover from Paris to LA, featuring Tom Cruise, was not only very #Hollywood but also incredibly cool! Paris did a great job hosting.
Au Revoir #ParisOlympics2024#ClosingCeremony
LA already has a huge advantage to hosting the next Olympic Games - they don’t have to spend billions building new venues. Instead the money it spends will go to infrastructure improvements around the region that will last decades. LA will shine as much as #Paris2024
