think the horriblest thing about being “high functioning” when you have mental health problems is you know exactly what you need to do to feel better and you know what your head is telling you is bullshit but you literally cannot switch your brain off

shout out to the people in recovery. they’re facing internal battles everyday and things that are easy for others are huge successes for them. eating three meals or getting out of bed in the morning might be a huge milestone for these people. proud of you
