I think if you're gonna paint an American flag custom sneaker and put the shadow lines as if the flag is waving the stripes cannot be completely straight.
Lightly scratching your painted shoe with an exacto knife is not the same as the possible abrasion your painted shoes will face when they are actually worn.
For a long time the majority of sneaker artists relied on one paint brand for their sneaker customization.
I think we've finally hit a point that there is now 4 to 5 solid options and even more if you count brands outside of America.
But we still need to know which is best!
@GawdofFrames Delete. Don't give them ideas!
I get why it doesn't happen much, sneakers aren't made in a couple months it takes a lot of time and projections.
But overall I agree they have room to do more for the small guys.
Embrace AI with your custom sneaker ventures, go for it. Let your audience determine whether it's worthwhile or not.
But please do not go around claiming an AI image is an image of a custom sneaker you actually made when in fact you did not.
collecting sneakers is fun. wearing shoes is awesome. talking to ppl about sneakers is great. but the idea that your collection of material goods somehow makes you better than another person is weird behavior all around.
Letting tech people touch the arts has to be one of the worst mistakes humanity has made. They have such deep contempt for creativity, ownership, and shared experiences. Life itself is an enemy. They will strangle every industry to death to have each cough up an extra dollar.
I also wanna say, some will agree some won’t I actually don’t care…..with everything I did to this shoe, $165 is a fucking steal haha.
Like, you guys have no idea….
