Missing out on the #SDG Summit and U.N General Assembly today but I’m taking action closer to home. Teacher in service today @GCISD means a day filled with interviews, non profit meetings and #KindnessROCKS.
Paisley Elliot, through her nonprofit organization @PaisleysPals, is giving away a kindness rock to every teacher in GCISD. Yesterday, she made her first delivery. These rocks were purchased and painted with positive messages by local community members. #WeAreGCISD

This week’s #TX24 Hometown Hero is 9-year-old philanthropist and Grapevine resident, Paisley Elliott. At 6 years old, she founded Paisley's Pals, a non-profit organization that offers support and education to refugees. Her most recent fundraising event included painting kindness rocks for every @GCISD teacher. Thank you, Paisley, for all the work you do to educate and inspire not only your peers, but North Texans of all ages!
