Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales have just arrived at @BishamAbbeyNSC where they will be joining talented young athletes and their families for a SportsAid workshop dedicated to mental health and wellbeing! The charity, in partnership with @BelievePHQ, has been providing information and advice on mental health and wellbeing to the country’s brightest sporting prospects, as well as their parents and guardians, for several years.

The Princess, who is approaching 10 years as the Patron of SportsAid, and The Prince will see the support being offered by the charity first-hand as they contribute to two themed discussions followed by a couple of practical exercises. They will be hearing from current SportsAid beneficiaries about how they manage the anxieties they may experience from the pressures and expectations of being a talented young athlete, whilst also balancing other areas of their lives such as school, friendships and family time.
