You don't have to. The "trans mice" claim is from a study for transgender cross-sex hormones using transgenically humanized mice. They were both transgenic, and made to be transgender.

Leftwing foolishness claimed that the right stopped reading after seeing "trans" something, and said, "aha! The mice were transGENIC, not transGENDER, checkmate!", but they forgot to keep reading after this preconceived gotcha
