Pastor Adeboye is trending because it’s time for his bi-monthly drag-a-thon.

Twitter is accusing him of being partisan as he failed to speak about the Benue incident, but led a protest under Jonathan.. false.

Also, he was quick to condemn the Hamas vs. Israel war in 2023. Israel where Christians made up barely 1.9% of the population.

So tweeps are calling on the RCCG man and Prof. Wole Soyinka to also speak now, not only when it’s beneficial to them. By extension, Pastor Chris, Paul Enenche, Paul Adefarasin, Bishop Oyedepo etc..

A few of these people have been speaking against the killings of Christians in the country, particularly Oyedepo and Enenche, Paul Adefarasin spoke up recently.

Indeed, Adeboye was vocal under Goodluck Jonathan’s administration. But he led a walk-protest under Buhari in 2020, not Jonathan’s administration.

Although, in 2010, Adeboye led a petition to stage a 1million man march protests against the insecurity in the country.

He wrote to GEJ notifying him of their intentions, when RCCG celebrated 50th anniversary. But, the protest didn’t later hold.

But, he has been characteristically quiet under Bola Tinubu, critically. Forcing Nigerians to conclude he is partisan. Due to several photos of himself along side APC politicians.

And now a new photo shows a booklet from 2008, where Adeboye urged members to pay their Taxes.. further putting him in a tight corner.

In spite of these, RCCG and Patriotic folks are saying Adeboye and Soyinka have done their best during their time, now it’s time for other people to take up the mantle, particularly the young ones like Pastor Jerry etc..
