@patrickbo11e@itsdevdaniel Ive seen worse man, he was at least creative enough to change up the UI a bit, this aint going to get better with the 750 new published apps each week neither
Stop taking advice from people who've never built anything. If they haven't put something on the line, their opinion on your risk isn't worth hearing.
The people who judge the attempt are never the ones making one.
I have to say I really love being a Shopify developer, but this is getting frustrating.
There hasnโt really been any meaningful improvement to the platform itself. The only thing that seems to have improved is making it faster to bring in new apps.
Meanwhile for actual devs:
The review system became so strict itโs almost impossible to build momentum. Reviews get removed, real users canโt always leave feedback, and you can put in a ton of effort and get nothing back.
The partner dashboard still lacks basic data. Itโs very limited for something thatโs supposed to help you grow.
And the UX across the dev experience is still rough in way too many places.
It just feels like the focus is on adding more apps faster instead of improving the fundamentals for the people already building here.
And honestly thatโs the frustrating part.
