Taliban claims their dead fighter was a “martyr” because he raised the Shahadat finger. Yet the photos tell a different story: left finger raised in the first picture, right finger raised in the coffin.
Even the propaganda can’t keep its fingers straight.

When independence exists only on the calendar, but not in a nation’s decision-making, celebration becomes an uncomfortable question rather than a proud occasion.
What exactly are we celebrating: deepening poverty, international isolation, exclusion, gender apartheid, or authoritarian rule?
Can a nation struggling to stand on its own feet truly claim meaningful independence? And what does independence actually mean if critical decisions are shaped by forces beyond the people?
The real crisis is not the absence of a celebration. It is the illusion of freedom itself.
The Taliban’s intelligence unit has reportedly killed its own deputy intelligence officer, Qari Ehsan. The Taliban are not only targeting their opponents but are also eliminating members of their own ranks. The lust for power has pushed Afghanistan further into destruction. Their so-called “Islamic Emirate” appears to be built not on the principles of Islam, but on oppression, deception, and fear.
Sources told that the Taliban has compiled lists of former security personnel in Kandahar, Helmand and Uruzgan and begun surveilling them, including by phone to verify where they live.

UN: Afghanistan Hosts at Least 20 Terrorist Groups
BREAKING: UN Security Council sanctions monitor Colin Smith says at least 20 terrorist organizations are operating from Taliban-ruled Afghanistan.
UN assessments reportedly indicate continued Taliban support for the TTP, including financial assistance, alongside high-level links with al-Qaeda and the Haqqani Network. Some militants have reportedly obtained Afghan passports, while Taliban intelligence oversees relations with various armed groups.
The Haqqani Network remains active despite Taliban denials, while ISIS-K is estimated to have around 2,000 fighters. The UN also says 59 sanctioned Taliban figures currently hold positions within the regime.
The findings raise fresh questions over Taliban claims that Afghanistan is no longer a safe haven for terrorism.

A reliable source confirmed that Jom'eh Fateh, after surrendering from Nasi district, was transferred to the city of Feyzabad, the capital of Badakhshan province, and until this afternoon, Tuesday, 27 Asad, had been present in Badakhshan. Afghan Youth: From Books to Bombs
Instead of placing pens and books in the hands of Afghanistan’s youth, the Taliban’s rule has allowed a culture where homemade IEDs and violence are becoming part of their reality.
Is this the “development” being promised to Afghanistan? A generation that should be building its future with education is instead being exposed to explosives and extremism.
This is not progress. It is the destruction of a generation’s future.
