Heard this before? 😏

This isn't a new argument. It's one of the oldest political tricks in the book:

👉 Praise the past.
👉 Belittle the present.
👉 Justify supporting someone else.

When Anna emerged, some said "Anna is better than Periyar."

When MGR left DMK, some said "MGR is better than Kalaignar."

Today it's:

"Kalaignar was great, but Stalin ruined DMK."

Funny thing is, many of the same people praising Kalaignar today were the ones attacking him when he was alive.

Let's not rewrite history.

Kalaignar faced relentless criticism, propaganda, and political hatred for decades. Yet he continued building modern Tamil Nadu and strengthening the Dravidian model.

Of course, some genuinely discovered Kalaignar's achievements only after his passing and respect him today. That's fair.

But using Kalaignar's name as a weapon against the current DMK? That's a tactic. Recognize it.

Anna carried forward Periyar's ideas.

Kalaignar took Anna's vision and accelerated it like a supersonic jet.

Stalin took Kalaignar's legacy and pushed it into the hypersonic era - expanding social justice, welfare, education, healthcare, women's empowerment, and state rights politics to a new level.

DMK was never built around one individual.

It is an ideological movement.

From Anna ➜ Kalaignar ➜ Stalin, the movement has evolved, adapted, and moved forward.

Tomorrow, new leaders will continue that journey too.

So don't fall for:

❌ "Kalaignar > Stalin"
❌ "Stalin > Udhayanidhi"
❌ Personality worship politics

Instead:

✅ Check the data.
✅ Check the policies.
✅ Check the performance.
