I got a notification about a reply to my comment where I asked someone not to use my mesh.
My work gets stolen fairly often, but I almost never bring it into the public eye, because I want to give the creator a chance to fix their mistake and continue creating.
I hadn’t checked that place in a long time, so I hadn’t seen the new comments.
And what I saw made me cry.
If you ever wonder why people leave this community, this is one of the reasons.
A lovely little swimsuit with a flower shaped cutout! Fun design to show off at the beach and probably a nightmare to tan in hehe 🌞

Reminder that this is a 15 person team. An indie studio. And they’ve already achieved things and added details the large sims 4 team could never in over 10 years.
Just found out that gradual aging is a thing in Paralives. Adult Paras will gradually get more wrinkles, skin sagging, and a more slouched posture as they age, even though they're still in the same life stage 🤯
With paralives releasing & so many ppl already bashing it I think the reminder that this is EARLY access needs to be reiterated a lot. You are buying an UNFINISHED, unpolished, version of a game. It’s going to have bugs & lack some depth/ features & will absolutely not be perfect
BEGGING people to give a chance to Paralives !! Game has so much potential.
At first there'll be MUCH LESS to do than in The Sims. We need to give indie devs the time to make the game they, and we, want. They're listening to the players!
In 1998, I was fired from my corporate job while 9 months pregnant because and I quote, “my priorities would be elsewhere after the baby is born.”
The lawyer I hired told me I didn’t have a case because discrimination like “that” was almost impossible to prove.
So I got pissed.
Took the LSAT. Went to law school. Passed the bar. Had 3 more kids.
Twelve years later, another woman from that same company was fired for the same reason. She sued them for a million dollars, and won, partly because I had kept every piece of evidence from what happened to me years prior demonstrating a systemic pattern of discrimination against women.
That company no longer exists. My law practice is thriving. And that baby they said would derail my priorities? She’s a brilliant attorney now working at my firm.
Turns out my priorities were indeed, elsewhere.
as a trans man i'm not allowed to use the men's toilet now because it says F on my birth certificate but i'm also not allowed to use the women's toilet because i may cause distress for looking like a man.... WHERE TF DO YOU WANT ME TO PISS????
