If nobody own anything, why would they feel bad when the state takes away ownership. If we want to prevent the next Communist genocide we need to make it easy for the next generations to buy into liberalism, a large part of that is strong property rights, and therefore ownership.

@Friended4Ever The idea that most parents confuse the interests of the family over the children, I think is laughable when compared to what a 24 years old person would do. The only person you can ever trust with selflessly regarding children are their parents, and then not even all.
