10 years later, Colin Kaepernick says the NFL is still targeting him.

Colin Kaepernick began taking a knee during the national anthem in 2016, and claims that the NFL is still "actively blackballing me" to this day.

The former 49ers quarterback says he won't support the league he believes shut him out after his protest against police brutality and racial inequality made him one of the most divisive figures in sports.

Kaepernick hasn't played in the NFL since the 2016 season. He opted out of his 49ers contract in March 2017 and hasn't signed with another team since.

Now, a decade after the protest began, he points to his earlier success and asks why he couldn't even get another workout: "Coming on the back of going to a Super Bowl, going to an NFC Championship, setting records, and not a single team would bring me in, even for a workout?"
