Share the words of nonspeaking autistic people who explain what they need and what helps.
That's all. You don't even have to help. Just share their words.
Not sure how? Here's a video. It's 4 minutes long. Watch it and share it. That's all. https://t.co/tUYyVEhwdX

Success isn't about getting more things done. It's about doing more worthwhile things well.
The 2023 Professional Status Survey (PSS) launches today! Look out for an email with an individualized link and complete the survey to help us collect important information about the genetic counseling profession. #GeneChat#TakethePSS

Patient at one point asked me a question, I replied “Yes ma’am.” She hadn’t quite looked at me until I said that. After she was fully engaged.
Here’s how long it took me to adjust: zero seconds.

THANKS to @mwhardy47 & @GoodGenesGC, the AC planning committee, and the NSGC staff & conference center staff! 👏 As an in-person attendee, I loved the hybrid format, as it gave me an option to have introvert time when needed while still watching talks (& safe mask breaks) #NSGC22
