COULD THIS BECOME AMERICA’S MOST TRANSIT-ORIENTED NFL STADIUM?

DC just approved $300 MILLION to rebuild Stadium-Armory Metro before the Commanders return in 2030.

The challenge is enormous:

• 65,000-seat stadium
• Nearly 32,000 fans expected to enter Metro within one hour after events
• Current station capacity: roughly 14,000 people per hour
• Without upgrades, clearing the crowd could take more than two hours

The project will add elevators, escalators, fare gates, a larger mezzanine and potentially a wider entrance.

Another $5 million will begin planning the Gold Line BRT to Union Station.

If you want tens of thousands of fans to leave their cars at home, this is the kind of investment it takes.

@clNogz I hate that Liberty Christian is in the same class as TA. They have unlimited resources and recruiting while TA has a beer budget. Private schools should not be competing against public schools at this level.

@IntaminsBitch Honestly, in my opinion TTG is better than many coasters I’ve ridden. The floater airtime is insane and if you get a creek side seat it adds an additional 30-40 ft to the already tallest screamin swing (137ft)in the world.

@IntaminsBitch Stormy is fantastic!!! Hopefully it will be back to two train ops next year. My top rides at HP are Wildcats Revenge, Skyrush, Stormy and Twizzlers Twisted Gravity. Such a stacked park!

@IntaminsBitch I’ve always loved coasters but never cared as much as I have this year! Riding coaster is an instant serotonin boost for me! It’s addictive in the best kind of way!! I have this strange obsession with Pantherian , I may try to attempt a 100 lap day next Saturday 🤘🤯😂

@IntaminsBitch Next spring/ summer I plan on making my first visits to SFGA , Dorney and Knoebels. With a stop at Hersheypark to finish the trip. Pennsylvania has some great parks and the best coaster collection (61) in the country. Along with 16 woodies!

@IntaminsBitch BGW Howl O Scream is top tier! I was there last Friday! Also Hersheyparks dark knights is possibly one of the best Halloween events in the country.
