I'll be doing fieldwork at Armação dos Búzios, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I'll use the methodoly I developed during my master's (which is on its way to be published!)
Really glad to announe that I've started a fully funded PhD position in Geography at @pucriooficial I'm really excited for the next 4 years and to work with my new supervisor. Looking forward to publish soon!
My project is monitoring marine litter with affordable methods in a beach where new licenses for sellers were allowed. I'm trying to prove that the raise in beach occupation is related to the increase of marine litter
Does anyone know about a ngo that supports #LGBT people in #science? I'm the only LGBT in my 9 people fellowship and there is a huge gap to be filled. @AcademicChatter@PhDchatter
So honoured to be a fellow of @MISS_Elasmo at @LoveTheOceans Mozambique! Awesome opportunity for minorities to be included in marine/shark sciences! I'm getting my PADI open waters, doing lots of research and teaching! Thank you so much MISS, I wouldn't be here w/o their support
@Dr_AlexM Hi Dr! Good to know you remember me. I've been working towards publishing my first article and getting my 2nd undegrad degree. I got a @MISS_Elasmo fellowship in Mozambique and will be acquiring lots of research experience. I hope to submit a stronger application this year! 💪🏼
I am proud that I have started to write my first first-author article, together with @NatashaANeves. It is based on my MSc dissertation entitled "First marine litter assessment in Gibraltar: an accesible and easy to replicate methodology". Any tips on writing is appreciated!!
