@mrsinha The Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22, 2025, saw gunmen from The Resistance Front kill 26 tourists and injure 12 in Baisaran Valley, Jammu and Kashmir. The attackers targeted civilians in a tent, accusing some of supporting PM Modi. Locals like Abdul Waheed evacuated the injured amid chaos. India blamed Pakistan, suspending the Indus Waters Treaty. The attack, the deadliest on tourists since 2000, disrupted Kashmir’s tourism economy. Pahalgam, known for its scenic beauty, remains a key destination despite the tragedy.
