Product Release News 💥 Introducing: XLPT (Cross-Lingual Prosody Transfer)

The first truly scalable and automatic transfer of emotion between languages using AI. Read all about it in the comments 👇

Great speech products start with a clear purpose: communication. Every spoken interaction is a speech event, merging words (what’s said) with rhythm, pitch & tone (how it’s said). Honoring both unleashes speech's full potential as a tool for connection & innovation.

Disney's secret? Constant evolution.

Disney+ leads its direct-to-consumer shift, while initiatives like a Fortnite-connected universe (coming 2026) push the brand further into gaming and commerce. For the media industry, the future is omnichannel: integrating AI for localized content, expanding IP globally, and blending e-commerce with entertainment.

Disney shows us that adaptation is the key to leading in the media landscape of tomorrow.

Today’s media companies are adapting to shifting consumer habits, tighter budgets, and rising goals by rethinking revenue models. Our report reveals how sports, digital publishing, and unscripted content providers are unlocking repeat revenue, inspired by the Disney model.

GPT-powered models are data-hungry: some need up to 100,000 hours of speech data! But quality matters as much as quantity. Smaller models trained on rich, "unclean" data (like overlapping voices, laughter, and code-switching) capture the real-life nuances of human communication.

Imagine an AI that switches languages mid-sentence, just like we do. Now that's innovation. 😏

In November 2022, ChatGPT skyrocketed to 1 million users, putting large language models (LLMs) front and center. These AI wizards don’t just predict your next word - they craft entire stories, code, and more with human-like flair.

At Papercup, we're putting LLMs to work. The result? High-quality, natural-sounding dubbed videos, faster than ever. Who knew language models could be this fun... And this powerful? 😎
