I think you are mistaken, wife of Murray.
Samantha Niblett (what a fine name), a bisexual, does not give the impression that she's "all about vibes and fashion and narcissism, simplistic talking points".
I think she means what she says. You are misunderestimating the issues.
(btw, I prefer the term simplicistic)
@For_Film_Fans My heart warms every time I see a Johnny Carson clip. Those were the good old times, both in terms of class and attitude: easy-going, positive, non-preachy, and genuinely funny, with no paid claque required.
@ShaneSchaetzel What about the claim that the papacy (and by extrapolation the Catholic Church) is anti-Christian, i.e., is aligned with what Satan wants to achieve.
Would that statement pass in your view?
A Latina. Married 5 times. Alcoholic. Alzheimer. Dead at 68.
"She'd fly into these rages... at her father or her mother or her brother. She would break all the furniture and she'd get in a car and I'd have to get in the car and try to control her. She'd drive up in the hills suicidally. Terrible, terrible nights"
Thankgod, that men invented movies.
The reason He said it was slightly different, though. The water-to-wine miracle was a demonstration of one of the powers of God. God could infuse water with some godly command or idea. The drinker would then get dizzy (โdizzy drinkโ) and have the most marvelous ideas.
Hence, water becomes wine.
In the same way, at the Last Supper, God infused/instilled into the wine and bread some of His commands and ideas. Hence, His disciples became His apostles.
@willchamberlain It's not insane if you believe that society is so unjust that murderers are more just than society. In that framework, murderers should not go to prison but society should suffer murderers here and there.
@pegobry_en The problem lies in the danger to turn a philosophical/spiritual question "Are your children really yours or their own?" into an ideological solution "Hand over your kids to the government"
@ShaneSchaetzel >Catholic Integralism means recognizing that Jesus Christ is King over every part of life
Not over your wives, Shane. Husbands are the kings over their wives per Scripture. You wife, your problem/pleasure.
Your answer is a non-answer. Makes no sense.
It implies that God will always have to die again and again because He cannot resolve the mercy-justice tension.
Or, that He makes some brutal rules, well knowing (since He's all-knowing) that He will have to suffer the consequences Himself instead of others (i.e. "God is some kind of masochist").
In fact, God can resolve the mercy-justice tension very easily. But that's another topic.
I do know the correct answers (plural) as to why God had to die. X replies are, of course, not the proper forum. So just two short statements:
Answer 1 of many: Only at His weakest point would the demons show their true face.
Answer 2 of many: God (Yahoway) (before He incarnated as Yeshu/Jesus) was the one who killed innocent Egyptian children (Pesach plague). Lamb's blood was painted on the wooden doorposts so that God would pass over Moishe and the Jews.
Now it was His time to be killed as the innocent Pesach child in front of Mary (so-called Mother of God) just as He had killed the innocent children in front of their mothers' eyes, and it had to be His blood that was painted on wood, so that His rage would pass over humanity because He was raging so much. And why was He raging so much that He had to kill and be killed? Well, that's a long story.
The most important revelations that happened in His life as Yeshu were the discussions He had while hanging on the cross. Essentially nothing of it is revealed anywhere yet. And it won't until I type it down.
@JoshuaTCharles Define "unrepentant mortal sin"
Examples, pls.
Also, I would like you to rank these sins on the "unrepentant to repentant mortal sin gradient".
I'm listenin'
@MattWalshBlog And yet, communism is just a vehicle for the real underlying isms: Nopsism and inverted Godly hierarchies. Charlie Kirk was killed because of Nopsism.
