Most coins trade against SOL. The coins launched here trade against another coin, and feed on it.

Pick any memecoin with at least 20 SOL of real liquidity as the host and launch your parasite on it. From then on, the only way in or out of your coin goes through the host. There is no SOL pool.

Every trade pays its 1% fee in the host coin. The program claims that fee and burns half of what it collects, in the same instruction. The busier the parasite, the smaller the host's supply.

And a parasite can carry parasites of its own, three levels deep, each one eating the coin beneath it.

A coin still on a Meteora bonding curve can be a host.

While it bonds, its price is read from the curve. When the curve completes and the coin moves into its DAMM v2 pool, the readings follow it there.

Only curves that migrate into DAMM v2 are accepted, so the price always has a pool to follow.

What a coin must pass to become a host:

A plain mint. No freeze authority, transfer fee, transfer hook or permanent delegate.

Enough SOL liquidity in its pool. The minimum is set in the program and shown in the docs under Parameters.

If its pool is quoted in another token, that token's SOL pool must hold at least as much.

Both token programs work.
