@DavidDack It's the most doable round number,
5 (7:06/km) is very achievable for someone running consistently with decent fitness and 3 (4:15/km) is too hard even for someone running consistently, requires 70-80 weekly mileage, hence 4 hours (5:41/km) is like naturally agreed upon pace.
@Anonymous_6102@frontierindica Chances of Gurinderver doing a 9.78 are significantly higher than Lyles doing 9.58.
No one's 'just' behind 9.58.
That's just abnormally ahead of rest of humanity.
200m world record - 19.19
What even is that difference ๐ญ the guys behind him are the best in the world themselves.
PS - Bolt claims his 200m record to be the easiest of his records to break.
We don't realise how absurd Bolt's 9.58 is.
Chances of a random guy waking up on a random day and decoding to play cricket/football and ending up with 100 centuries or 1000 goals are significantly higher than a 10.09 guy doing 9.58, taking nothing away from his national record.

100m in just 10.09 seconds ๐ฑ
Just 0.5 behind Usain Boltโs world record!!
Goosebumps
Batters were scoring 500 run seasons at 110-115 sr and getting labelled as "class players" and not wrongly so.
Evolution of the game almost feels unreal if you haven't seen it yourself.
I feel prime Gayle would have certainly dropped 1000 runs @ 200 strike rate kind of season had he played a few seasons on these pitches.
That man scored 600 @ 180 and 700 @ 160 twice from 2011-13
Hardly 2-3 batters struck above 140 back then, now it's the other way round.
Horrible scenes. A 15โ16-year-old being brainwashed (and brainwashing others) like this. Iโm not saying the other side is completely right either, but whatever this guy says contains barely 10% facts and 90% gaslighting.
This kid is literally becoming a nightmare for left Liberals ๐ฅ
After cooking Dhruv Rathee, he is BASHING Cockroach Janata Party & its founders brilliantly.
Liberals tried to silence him by copyright strike but now heโs ROASTING them at 10x speed now.
More power to him ๐๐ฅ
As useless as the current political parties are, itโs still hard to believe that any new age group genuinely wants change and isnโt just chasing power.
Half way through the season if someone had faced 85 balls as an opener in 2018, one would believe they are having average or below average season. Meanwhile Priyansh Arya so far has faced just 85 balls scoring 211 runs with a strike rate of almost 250.
Don't know about the statistics but I guess Pandya since his comeback for MI barely averages 20 with the bat and 40 with the ball with neither impressive strike rate nor economy.
