If the private schools take all the kids with great talent then how do you develop teams that can compete and gain notoriety… thus getting the resources to improve. It’s a very legit stance. What’s the solution?

I understand your argument and I see your frustration but why is it the private school’s fault? Genuinely interested in your response.

@girls_williams @YLdad @latsondheimer I don’t like the word stealing. Nobody is stealing. But you’re right in that private schools attract those families that could help implement and enforce change. It’s a symptom of the widening opportunity gap. I don’t feel like money would solve the problem you’re describing

@latsondheimer Sports, like life, are unforgiving… this sucks all around but sometimes you just get run over. I’m not sure what it is, but I hope the Morningside kids take something away from this game that makes them stronger. Seems like another example of the times we are living in.
