@ianbremmer Is the purpose of this to compare country productivity? Starting with GDP per person, rather than income data, and then adjusting for hours implies this could be the goal here. Using adjusted income data for comparisons would change the rankings a lot.
@wizardgirrl@wbhub@RobinhoodApp I believe it hurts your credit to close credit cards. If you have no annual fee cards, keep em around when the benefits are useful for a big purchase.
@thereal_beebee@elonmusk It’s a pattern recognition test, how is 9 related to 90 in a consistent way to 8’s relation to 72, and so on down the list? The answer in this case is multiplying by 10, 9, 8 7, 6, etc. in a descending order. When you get to 3, it’s 3 X 4, so the answer is 12.
@SunShakSunday@zsilv1992 With two kids the price of an Au pair starts to become more economical than paying full time daycare for both. But there’s only a small window before the oldest is usually going to school so not always worth it.
@ckorndor @marketamp @elonmusk Eh it’s a gray area to me. I fully understand that a government would crack down on citizens that are actively hurting their war cause or putting soldiers/ukrainian lives in jeapordy. Apparently he was revealing information of about Ukrainian soldier positions.
@Cernovich We’ve been contributing less than 1% of our YoY tax dollars to Ukraine, much of which is older military equipment on its way out. This has been the cheapest money ever to hurt Russia, and is a huge geopolitical gain for us long term.
@YoussefAyubbi @drgck1@DrEliDavid Except Jewish population actually did drop by a third throughout the war and still haven’t recovered the pre war population to this day
@indelibleindigo@krassenstein@elonmusk The conspiring part is also illegal, whether or not it worked in fooling anyone. Just like conspiring to murder even if it never happens is still illegal
@ResisterBob @mynameisCorin@JoePompliano An extreme example of this is they begin to allow rollerblades but then you plug your ears and say no it was just their talent that beat the record. The new shoes took minutes off all professional runners. And it’s not debated.
@ResisterBob @mynameisCorin@JoePompliano The reason your not seeing a 10s / mile decrease in time is because the 2014 record is still the fastest guy. The shoes have been proven to add this much efficiency. Just read one of the million articles about it
@Taistytaist @Soupman___@JoePompliano Ran ultra marathon here in Colorado and plenty athletic. Maybe your not at the competitive level where buying expensive, top end shoes are a priority, or you’d know about them. Maybe your parents don’t want to spend the money. They would do exactly that for you. Vaporflys
@Loonatic24 Huh? My profile is from like 2020 dude. Also, I never said anyone could break the record with these new shoes. If anything its posts like yours that are “Peak Twitter”, just lie/make stuff up without a lot of thought. I did get baited by you, which is also peak Twitter I guess.
@orkovision@JoePompliano In this case the guy wouldn’t have beaten the world record without the new technology. was a failure not to ban them. They successfully keep the integrity of other sports records all the time. New swim suits that can greatly increase swimming times were banned, remember?
@abowlb@JoePompliano I’m not an expert, I just remember reading about the shoes a long time ago, here’s the article on the shoes they’ve been using to beat the old record https://t.co/3OACWd3FmB
