@Macrobysunil Gold is better, I was reading that the silver deficit in global markets has come down from 110 million ounces to 40 million ounces only now and producers have started to increase production.high possibility that silver deficit might be removed by next year ifthe same demand perst
I keep saying this: for any regulated business, the biggest risk is regulatory risk. Today's IRDAI draft on insurance commissions is a good reminder.
Broking is no different. A change in rules around retail F&O trading, how brokers can earn on client float, MTF requirements, or any of several other areas can change the economics of the business almost overnight.
So when valuing regulated businesses, you can't just extrapolate current revenues and profits into the future. One regulation change can alter the economics, and the stock price along with it.
Pretty much everything in fintech comes with this risk 😬

Respectfully flagging a market anomaly ahead of tomorrow's gold options expiry.
Reports are circulating that the government is considering a cut in gold import duty from 15% to 6%, following representations from jewellers' associations. This speculation alone appears to be distorting price discovery — domestic gold is trading at a notable divergence from international parity, and put premiums have turned unusually rich into tomorrow's expiry, well beyond what fundamentals justify.
This pattern is consistent with the market pricing in policy uncertainty rather than actual demand-supply dynamics, and it leaves retail traders exposed to volatility driven by rumour rather than fact.
As a SEBI-registered Research Analyst, I would request the Ministry of Finance to issue an official clarification on its stance regarding gold import duty at the earliest, so that this ambiguity does not continue to be a source of avoidable speculation and volatility in the gold derivatives market.

@manjuonthego@SarangSood Once the market approaches this cutoff (typically around 11:00 PM when the market closes at 11:30 PM), the system completely freezes the placement of any new MIS orders. Because the system blocks the entire MIS product route post-cutoff, it automatically blocks new order.
