We had a very special visitor come to nursery this week. Santa came to Maryhill Park to bring us some gifts because all of our children are on the nice list. 👏The children had lots of fun!!🤗 🎅🎅🎅

The children and staff said an emotional goodbye to Lisa our lovely clerical today. She is moving on to pastures new. We all wish her well in her new post. Good luck Lisa. 🤗

Week 5 of our Forest School programme and the children were learning to keep safe using tools and when making a hot drink on the fire. Good listening everyone! 🤗

The children have been building confidence and resilience in the outdoors. They have been to Maryhill Park with the staff and Countryside Rangers to explore the forest, to den build and make a slide. They all had lots of fun! 🤗

The children had to pay their pennies to the cashier to buy their shopping, helping them to understand that money has a value and what we use it for. Well done.

The children went to our local shop today to buy some goodies for our New Parents Information Session. They stayed safe crossing the road by using the crossing!

Our children and families enjoyed our Graduation Day and the sun was shining down on us. 😎

The children all looked amazing in their Maryhill Park graduation tshirts and danced and sang brilliantly. It was an emotional day for everyone to see all our preschool children moving on to their next chapter! 🎉🎉🎉

We were delighted to welcome staff and children from Maryhill Park nursery into school today to celebrate 850 years of Glasgow. Lovely to see our current P1’s welcome those children starting school August. Well done to P7 for leading the games. #Glasgow850 #community

The children have been learning about road safety. This week our local lollipop man Jimmy came in to visit us to talk about how he keeps the children safe when travelling to nursery. 😄🚗

Fantastic day at our Sports Day. The children did amazing in a variety of races. All our families came to cheer the children on and even the rain stayed away for us, well just a little.😂.Well done everyone. 😊🥇

A huge big thank you to Noble Property Solutions for dropping off tyres and pallets for our outdoor area. We have used them to develop our cycle track and made a stage area outdoors. More use of the pallets will come. Thank you so much. 😊

On Friday we had a visit from our local firefighters 🧑🏻‍🚒. The children had a great time having a turn of the hose and learning how the firefighters in our community help us😃
