Football watcher, ex-(not pro)player and fan. Can be found screaming 'PASS' in parks, pubs and with my feet up at home in front of a TV. Yes it is annoying.

Ella Toone reacts to England defending their Euros title with a penalty shootout victory against Spain ๐
@datchuguyy An interesting stat but let's also remember the context. Things are not great, financially, in the UK so many activities and entertainments are being cut back on by individuals and families.
If the demand is there (this clip makes no comment) women's football will bounce back.
@AdamCrafton_ I understand FIFA going with this 'clarified' nonsense but why is the BBC echoing it?
I pay for the BBC not FIFA. It's me they owe accuracy to not that awful organisation.
@BlueGeorgia What happens when an intelligent diplomat comes up against chat show culture (and this is an 'elevated' chat show): everything slow down, no jokes, and points that require thought being made.
Enjoy it while you can before HBO's new owners stop this sort of thing.
FIFA has reversed its decision to bar World Cup fans from bringing refillable water bottles into the tournament's 16 stadiums across North America, following fierce backlash. https://t.co/NcqZHS2jpH
I don't care what anyone says I like Alejandro Garnacho. I think he may be a bit limited but what he does, he does at a high level.
Problem is he keeps ending up in dysfunctional sides (#MUFC & #CFC) where too much is expected of him. He's only 21.
๐จ Chelsea could part ways with Alejandro Garnacho only a year after bringing him in from Manchester United for ยฃ40M.
The Argentine winger managed just one Premier League goal while starting 14 league games last season.
With Xabi Alonso expected to reshape the squad again this summer, Chelsea are willing to consider offers for the 21-year-old.

I'm from Makerfield, and all Burnham has done is annoy me.
He's using my constituency as a test case for his latest leadership bid.
If he loses, he's still Mayor of Manchester, while we in Makerfield are left w\ sexist bigot Robert Kenyon.
Thanks, Andy(!)

@King0243_PJC Robert Kenyon is an embarrassment. So Reform will 30,000 new police officers?
See below for how the Conservatives recruited 20,000 police officers under Boris Johnson (after making 20,000 redundant under David Cameron).
Having read this, itโs a simple glitch that meant 60 tickets (SIXTY) were accidentally sent out to people for free and FIFA canโt even bring themselves to swallow it.
Theyโd sell the air people breathe in the stadiums if they could.
FIFA block booked hotel rooms across the US to create artificial demand and drive up prices for football fans. They cancelled all the block bookings now.
That's insane.
