Before Kumasi became Ghana’s second-largest city, Ashtown was already part of the heartbeat of the Asante Kingdom.
Located close to Manhyia, Ashtown is one of Kumasi’s oldest communities and has witnessed the rise of the Asante Empire, colonial invasions, and the modern growth of Kumasi.
Some places have history. Some places are history.
Ashtown is one of them. 🦔👑 #AsanteHistory #Kumasi
