We can chose to change that in December 2021 and throughout 2022 & hence change the course of the pandemic. Or we can keep doing the same things & we get the same result - a continued cycle of variants & pandemic waves. We have a choice.
For 18 months many have warned the pandemic would be more protracted, with a greater chance new variants, further waves, more deaths, more disruptive, greater economic costs, if the world did not equitably share all the tools. We made that mistake in 2020 & 2021.
Climate change is
😷 damaging our health
🥗 affecting our food
🦠 and spreading infectious diseases.

Big thanks to @HighStreetsTF for adding the #RethinkRePlace#TacticalUrbanism toolkit to their library.
There are absolutely loads of useful and important #placemaking tools to help our high streets get back to health beyond #Covid19 on their website 💪

It's launch Friday (okay, not a real thing).
But you can now read all about our fantastic #RethinkRePlace Festival & download a free toolkit including a participative workshop on #TacticalUrbanism.
Give our volunteers @ParkinVerity & @Robinson_AJ_ a 👏

@thetrainline Hi Andy - thanks for your message. I checked on the Trainline website and it said the timetable would be confirmed by 22 March for trains running 29th March onwards. I would like to book for 29th March so I’m hoping these are released soon. Thanks.
It’s been rewarding to receive positive feedback from the Virtual Policy Hackathon that I facilitated with @AlexRob79227869 and @NewUnion_org recently!
"I found it dynamic and well-structured, and particularly appreciated having some interactive activities"

We've loved seeing responses to our children’s placemaking lesson! Making these ideas accessible to a young audience is challenging but necessary if public space design is to address the needs of all citizens. Access the lesson here:

It was fantastic to interview @Claire_AKL from Auckland City Council 🇳🇿 and learn about the opportunities for change when tactical urbanism projects are formally funded and integrated into city strategy. Thank you for your time!

Thanks to everybody who took part in #RethinkRePlace Festival last week.
Huge gratitude to our interviewees for their valuable knowledge, hopefully, that will be of use to #placemakers around the world.
@AlexRob79227869 & @ParkinVerity, take a bow for all your hard work 👏👏👏
It was fantastic to interview @marcustanway with @AlexRob79227869 to hear all about the work of @HelloLampPost_ reimagining how citizens engage with public space through innovative interactive placemaking tools from Singapore to Sydney! https://t.co/BJpqXYjr4z
