We've now had two Porter alumni become YC founders: @ianedwards_ with @parley_law (YC S24) and @FerozeMohideen with Robby (YC W26).

Neither of them are working on devtools. Robby is an AI copilot for technicians. Parley automates legal work with LLMs, starting with helping immigration lawyers complete visa applications.

When great engineers leave @porterdotrun to start companies, it means we're hiring well. We're only 20 people, so 10% of the team going on to start YC-backed startups feels significant.

To be clear: we're not running a founder bootcamp. But if you join Porter, you'll develop an intimate understanding of the different technical challenges startups face through our users.

You'll also gain deep technical expertise with complex infrastructure. You'll solve problems that hundreds of companies struggle with. You'll own meaningful decisions early in your career.
