SATIRE & PARODY of @Sflecce
Ontario’s gaslighting Minister of Education.
Fighting kids. They'd be easy to beat if not for the unions. With parents. #ONPOLI
This account (from a fed-up parent) satirizes Stephen Lecce, Ontario Minister of Education. The terrible cuts and regressive policies that are impacting students in Ontario must stop.
This is a tasteless approach, but the problem is very serious. The government doesn't listen!
No problemo students in grade 12: You will graduate
You completed "3/4" of the school year
123/187 teaching days = 66%, ignoring strike days
We know 123=140, so 66% = "3/4"
"3/4" of teachers agree our eLearning plan is credible for "3/4" of students
#COVID19 is OK👊

@erinpepler @Sflecce We will soon announce an additional 6 hours each day when Ontario switches to the 30 hour day (each hour is smaller). If that’s not enough, we’ll introduce the 36 hour day.
Inspired by the US Federal Reserve’s approach of making money out of nothing

👏Put those hands together for the outstanding communicator at the podium. 🤟ILY
This is my dream for mandatory e-Learning!
Classes are back in session, so kids stay at home and good luck. Parents, this is on you alone. Classrooms & teachers belong to the past.

I’m genuinely pleased with @maritstiles and @Sflecce.
Is this real?
I’m going back to reading “The Stand” (Stephen King). It’s more believable right now.
Not parody:
Politicians are cooperating across party lines & saying nice things?!
What’s next? An acknowledgment that MPPs not from the party in power are a vital part of the gov’t —instead of “We won! We dictate!”?
Hope this new “representative democracy” lasts!

Minister @celliottability and I appreciated the perspective & advice on our ongoing response to #COVID19.
We are in unprecedented times. We are in this together to keep students, staff, and communities safe.
#ONpoli
@SheilaGatensby@adbarsim@Sflecce@OECTAProv It certainly is!
But, Coronavirus is a gift to @Sflecce because it naturally diverts attention, it’s an opportunity to promote an eLearning “solution”, and the extra 2 weeks after March break++ may throw a wrench into Teacher’s efforts to resist education cuts.
I’m proud to report, after so much regression, we got a deal done with #OECTA, this counts as progress.
The time is now, to my other federation partners, to the other unions, let’s build positive momentum like a giant Coronavirus-shaped wrecking ball.

Check my interview with @AM980News, we chat about getting a deal at the bargaining podium:
🤦♀️dropping class size language
💩100% of Special Ed funding that I'll allow
🤦tyranny of the default eLearning
🤦♂️merit based hiring by removing accountability
#WTF#ONpoli#CutsHurtKids
Check out my interview with @AM980News - where we chat about our plan to keep kids in class:
🍎 freezing class sizes
🍎 100% Special Education funding
🍎 parental opt-out for online learning
🍎 merit based hiring

@FordBurner "For the People Who Matter" is our original campaign slogan before it was shortened, the "Who Matter" part is understood exclusively by those who matter.
The preceding comma splice was brought to you by Vaughan Wealthy Families.
