F-35 can't be scaled w/o the crashes, billions in cost overruns, upgrade delays & the supply chain problems, with the USAF complaining about Lockheed's "acquisition malpractice" of monopolising its sustainment? The J-20 & J-35 can. Quantity has a quality of its own.
