Now hosted by the @dhishef the new platform will remain open access in line with the late Professor Martin Barker’s vision for the journal to remain free and open access 1/2

His vision was for a journal that was truly open access, had transparent reviewing policies, would support junior colleagues and could act as a gathering point for audience scholars no matter their disciplinary background. We are committed to continuing his legacy in the future.

Everyone who works on Participations was devastated to learn of Martin Barker’s death. His wisdom, generosity and kindness offered an example of the best an academic could be. He created Participations as a space to share and celebrate audience research. 2/3
