@SW_Help Hi. We tried to get on 23:05 which was impossible and tried to get a taxi from Waterloo to Winchester, also impossible so have taken a hotel. Cost £300. Probably cheaper than a taxi so hoping we can get reimbursed by SWR.

Shows how HMRC manipulated the situation and inexplicably put the onus on receivers rather than payers of the loans. This could have all been sorted out by addressing the employers years ago!

@HMRCpressoffice @gurpreetnarwan But they are tax avoidance schemes (1) devised and mis-sold to contractors by professional advisers @HMRCgovuk had a statutory obligation to police and (2) implemented by employers and agencies @HMRCgovuk had a statutory obligation to pursue for the tax in the first instance etc

@HMRCpressoffice @gurpreetnarwan If "it's HMRC's reponsibility to collect the tax people legally owe" why did they not collect it at the time rather than sit on their hands for years without asking for it then suddenly demand life changing sums? I and thousands of others demand like an answer
