The consumer has to judge a game by its cover, unless they want to pay $70+ for something they turn out to hate. Especially pre-release. The presence of one very visible "woke" element of a game in a trailer frequently means there will be many more. These are very often (but not always) associated with a decline in the quality of the game. Similarly, traditionally beautiful or 'sexy' women are an indication that a game isn't catering to leftist agendas. Sweet Baby Inc, etc., which increases the likelihood that the game will be focused on quality. It's not actually about pixels as fap fuel, it's about what they typically (but not always) mean for the rest of the game.
