@ThatAlexWoman Things are allowed to change. Are we supposed to keep the same person on the notes forever? That's even before you begin any debate about the person he was.
@cn9898 No, that's not right. Yes the population rose by about 10 million and yes the largest contributing factor was migration but it's not true to claim it accounts for all 10 million people.
@GP@reformparty_uk To be fair to him - and believe me I really don't want to have to credit Reform unnecessarily - the population has increased by about 10 million people over the last 20 years and the main part of that is net migration. That much is true.
@RestoreBolton Do what you like in your own garden, of course, but if you're taking pleasure in upsetting other people then I'd suggest you'd have to ask yourself a few questions about the sort of person you're being.
@EssexPR I think the example you're using is Sadiq Khan saying people were right to react with fury. That's a view of an existing response. Farage called for a reaction. A reaction of "rage". That's a call to arms (and a different word with different semantics) and certain actions.
I see that this quotation is being posted by a number of people supporting Farage. It's spurious as far as I am aware as a definition. The expression is "cold anger" not cold rage. Cold rage is an oxymoron.
One thing I've not seen people picking up on from Farage's terrible video is that he called George Floyd "a career criminal". He was no saint & had a long rap sheet but his living was not made from crime. He had also put crime behind him and hadn't been in custody for 13 years.

@orosmind@FatManonaBike Being against one thing doesn't immediately make you pro something else. Binary arguments like the one you're pushing here are over-simplified nonsense.
