It was even a running joke on how every season, homelander is supposedly becoming more unhinged, and always left it at 'oh next season, he'll finally go crazy'

very much agreed with most points besides the one about ryan

they couldve had a way cooler story for ryan imo

him being the first naturally born supe + the son of the main villain

they couldve explored that way better, yeah they had that fight scene but after that it seems like they just forgot about him

either shouldve died in that scene, or bring him back later which maybe theyll still do in episode 8

but this whole season been a mess so far
