ਜਦੋਂ ਮੰਗੋਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੂਰਜ ਆਸਮਾਨ ’ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਚੰਗੇਜ਼ ਖਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਫੌਜ ਨਾਲ ਬੁਖਾਰਾ ਵੱਲ ਕੂਚ ਕੀਤਾ। ਬੁਖਾਰਾ ਤਾਂ ਸੀ ਹੀ ਸੋਨੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ। ਚੰਗੇਜ਼ ਖਾਨ ਨੇ ਬੁਖਾਰਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਉਸਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ: "ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਹੋ।"ਬੁਖਾਰਾ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਦੋ ਧੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡੇ ਗਏ।
ਇੱਕ ਸਮੂਹ ਚੰਗੇਜ਼ ਖਾਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਨੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਸ਼ ਲਈ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਨੂੰ, ਚੰਗੇਜ਼ ਖਾਨ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ: "ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਨਕਾਰ ��ੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਡੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੋ। ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਿਕ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਓਗੇ ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਗੁੱਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਝਗੜਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਚੰਗੇਜ਼ ਖਾਨ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਜਿੱਤ ਗਿਆ। ਪਰ ਚੰਗੇਜ਼ ਖਾਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਫੌਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਇਆ.
ਚੰਗੇਜ਼ ਖਾਨ ਨੇ ਫਿਰ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਜੇ ਉਹ ਜਿਓੰਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇ ਹੱਕਦਾਰ ਹੁੰਦੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਨਾ ਲੜਦੇ.
ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜੋ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਬਿਗਾਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਧ���ਖਾ ਕਿਓਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ !

ਅਰਥ:~
ਜਦੋਂ ਨਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤਮਈ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਉਪਾਅ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਦ ਆਖਰੀ ਰਾਹ ਵਜੋਂ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਚੁੱਕਣਾ ਨਿਆਂਯੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਚੋਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ, ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਕਲਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਦਾ, ਤਦ ��ਿਮਤ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਣਾ ਧਰਮੀ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ, ਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਹੈ।

When all peaceful and lawful means to seek justice have been exhausted it is justified to take up arms as a last resort. It emphasises that violence never the first choice but when oppression leaves no other option, standing up with courage becomes a righteous duty its message of bravery, justice and moral responsibility.
