And thats where we gone wrong in Zambia. We want the government to be doing everything for us, forgetting that Govts are subject to strong political interference.
A mine is supposed to be owned by Business People (Citizens if need be) in order to stay competitive.
I will say it again? The Zambian government CANNOT run mines. You see Kobold metals investing 2.5 billion in Mingomba Copper mine and you think govt can do the same? The same govt that cannot fix drainages? Please.
Let us let the investors do their thing and make sure we get the appropriate taxes when the mine is productive.
PRECIOUS METALS ARE CRASHING.
$956 BILLION has been wiped out from precious metals today.
Gold is down -2.3%, wiping out $715 billion from its market cap.
Silver is down -5.8%, wiping out $241 billion from its market cap.
@LankyObserver How many have $300k and still end up broke ?
I hate this whole Negative notion people have towards Successful people, to give a blame deflection as a reason as to why someone/They arent Successful.
@LankyObserver The funny part is he thinks turning $300,000 to $2.7Trillion is a joke.
Thats a 9Million x Return. Or like him turn K100 to K900Million.
People like to use this whole "He had some money to start up" as an excuse to discredit someone's efforts.
