A FINAL NOTICE is being mailed to Pasco property owners in Special Flood Hazard Areas who sustained damage from Hurricanes Helene or Milton and have not applied for permits required by federal, state and local regulations. Cypress and Withlacoochee have not crested yet. Ponds and lakes are also an issue so low-lying areas that are prone to flooding are included. Thank you.

Pasco County is experiencing historical flooding in low-lying areas and in several neighborhoods around the county near our rivers and lakes. Water is quickly rising in these areas, and we encourage you to LEAVE and get to higher ground NOW.

If you must travel around the county, be aware that dozens of flooded roads are closed, and you will have to navigate safely around them. Do NOT drive through floodwaters.

#PascoCounty is offering two options for Pasco County residents to dispose of storm-related yard debris: you can drop off tree limbs or branches for FREE at one of Pasco’s two solid waste facilities OR you can pile your yard waste at the curb and Pasco County will pick it up in the coming weeks.

📍East Pasco Transfer Station, 9626 Handcart Road, Dade City
Open every day from 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. for Pasco County residents
📍West Pasco Resource Recovery, 14606 Hays Road, Spring Hill
Open every day from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. for Pasco County residents

Both locations are also accepting flood-damaged debris. Fees for storm debris disposal are waived until further notice. Please be prepared to show your I.D. with proof of Pasco County residency.

*STORM DEBRIS PICK-UP:
Pasco County will also be picking up loose, storm-related debris that is sorted into piles and placed by the curb. *Pasco will only pick up items that were damaged in the storm.

If you’re planning to dispose of debris ahead of #HurricaneMilton, the West Pasco Resource Recovery Center, located at 14606 Hays Road, Spring Hill, will be open to the public until 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The landfill will remain open to contracted haulers until 7 a.m. Wednesday. Please continue to follow #PascoCounty’s social media platforms for storm debris updates and all other emergency messaging.
