@numberslka If I am not mistaken Rathmalana (Colombo) AirPort was also renovated as an International airport in March this year however only one International Flight visited there.

Sri Lanka has decided to increase the Value Added Tax (VAT), this time by 3%, from 15% to 18%. Against this backdrop, it's worth listening to this clip from the hit TV show "The West Wing".

This is Senator Arnold Vinick, a fictional U.S. Senator, during a presidential debate, explaining how the West urges countries like ours to raise taxes to generate more revenue to repay the loans we've taken, resulting in countries like ours being trapped in an endless cycle of debt.
