‘29 RHP/OF Zacharia Safi (OH) Tall, slender RHP runs the FB up to 82 and throws a big, slow CB in the low to mid 60s. Hitters can’t sit on one pitch as he keeps the same arm speed on both and mixes them well, w/ the ability to add sweep to the CB when needed. Projectable frame w/ an advanced ability to consistently land the CB. #WWBAOV
So proud of you @mason_ventura1 on how you’re playing on the circuit! 30 piece with 7 three’s and… oh a dunk in this game? Yeah, we’ll take it. Keep it up OBC. You boys are so fun to watch! #team#family
2028 RHP/INF Chase Martin @ChaseMartin1212 (@paduabruinbb)
FB: 85-88, T88.8 CB: 71-73 SL: 74-76 CH: 76-77
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound two-way standout delivered on both sides of the ball in Padua’s Regional Semifinal victory. On the mound, Martin was electric, tossing five strong innings while allowing just one run on four hits and two walks. The right-hander struck out 11 of the 15 outs he recorded, showcasing his swing-and-miss arsenal. At the plate, the right-handed hitter produced from the 5-hole, collecting an RBI single, a sacrifice fly, and a walk. Currently ranked No. 16 in Ohio's 2028 class, Martin continues to trend upward and remains one of the state's premier sophomore prospects. A name to know.

2028 1B Braylon Benson @2028_bzb (@paduabruinbb)
Benson's physical 6-foot-3, 190-pound frame immediately stands out, but it was his athleticism that stole the show. The sophomore reached base twice, scored two runs, and wreaked havoc on the bases with four stolen bags. The 88th ranked prospect in his class also narrowly missed a home run, hooking a deep drive foul to showcase his raw power. The speed/power combination is evident, making Benson a high-upside prospect to keep tabs on moving forward. A name to know.
2029 3B Michael Cangelosi Jr. @MikeCangelosi25 (@paduabruinbb)
The freshman helped spark Padua's offense early, ripping a triple over the right fielder's head in the second inning. Cangelosi finished 1-for-3 with a run scored and was robbed of another hit on a diving play up the middle. At 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, the right-handed hitter continues to impress. Currently ranked No. 12 in Ohio's 2029 class, Cangelosi is a young prospect with a bright future ahead. A name to know.
