@IEC_EIC Thanks @IEC_EIC , but I don´t have issue with visa extension. My problem is with visa activation. Flagpole is nonessential now (I read on your page) and no other solution within Canada . Are we considering online appointment or similar? More than one month and still not solution.

@IEC_EIC, are you working with "My Port of Entry Letter of Introduction expires soon and I am in Canada. What do I do? Can I travel to a Canadian port of entry to activate my work permit?" Last time the page was updated,17th of April. I could lose my job offer for this reason. 🙏

@marcomendicino @CollegeCan @univcan @marcomendicino and what happens with the people who are in Canada and want to activate our IEC work status for starting a job? Border is closed and flagpole is not allowed, there is no way to do this activation now. Will there be any solution for us?

@IEC_EIC Hi, thanks for your reply. In your suggested section which I have already visited, it says procedures "may" be put in place to allow IEC participants to activate work permits from within Canada.. I have a job offer I already. What can I do? @IEC_EIC

Dear @IEC_EIC, I would like to draw your attention to the lack of immigration law re. IEC work permit holders due to COVID19. Since Flagpoling is no longer allowed, there is no option for the several thousands of us to activate IEC work permit WITHIN Canada. Help please.🙏
